Disembarking in the fishing town of Måløy on Norway's west coast, you will travel along the extensive Nordfjord and Lake Hornindalsvatnet, the deepest lake in Europe.

First, you will visit the village of Loen by Lake Lovatnet. We recommend taking the Loen Skylift cable car to the top of Mount Hoven, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the fjord, mountain lakes and glaciers. At the top there is a modern panoramic restaurant where you can have a bite and a cup of coffee.

Then, you will drive through the scenic valley leading to the Briksdalsbreen Glacier. In Briksdal you will buy a ticket with one of the “Troll Cars”, which will take you to the glacier via a picturesque road and a bridge over a glacial waterfall. After a stop and rest at the glacier, you will return by Troll Car.

If desired, you can walk to and from the glacier (approx. 40 minutes each way).

Return to Måløy.
