This fascinating route will take you past two glaciers — one of which is large and surrounded by icebergs, a walrus rookery, and a bird cliff.

You will sail from the port of Longyearbyen through the fjord to the walrus rookery. From there, you'll continue to Borebreen Glacier, where you will also see icebergs. After exploring Borebreen, you'll sail toward Alkhornet mountain and its bird cliff. At the foot of Alkhornet Mountain, you will have lunch along the route and enjoy a short walk (about 1 kilometer).

Next, you’ll continue by boat to Esmarkbreen glacier. After some time at the glacier, you’ll return to Longyearbyen.

The duration of the route depends on weather conditions, but it generally takes a full day, about 8-9 hours.

You will be provided with warm thermal overalls in which you will feel warm and comfortable. The open Zodiac boat will allow you to get close to the expedition sites and provide you with a full view of the surrounding nature.

Excursions are led by experienced captains and guides.
